We’re located on the ‘ewa (west) side of Ala Moana Center on Waimanu Street, situated between the Chun Wah Kam Noodle Factory and Bernini Restaurant.
We’ve got a friendly parking team ready to greet you and take the drama out of finding a place to park. Street parking is always free and readily available on Sundays and Wednesday evenings. Additionally, we have parking lots to use as needed. If you’re ever unsure of where to park, pull up front in the loading zone directly in front of our building and we’ll get you taken care of!
Our loving nursery is staffed with trained childcare workers who will love your little ones! Nursery is provided for birth through 4 years old for all of our services.
Super Church is our Sunday morning and Wednesday evening Bible class for our keiki ages 4-12. Your kids will learn fun songs, hear an amazing Bible story and earn SuperBucks to redeem for great prizes!
All of our services begin with a prayer of worship and thanksgiving, followed by about 30 minutes of worship and praise music, usually a mix of great hymns of the faith, along with newer songs and praise choruses.
Every time you come to Huikala, we’re going to open God’s Word. Huikala is a Bible-preaching and Bible-teaching church. We don’t take a Bible”-ish” thought and talk story, but take a portion of Scripture and dissect it and apply it to our lives.
At the conclusion of every service, we take an offering. One of the ways that we worship God is through our offerings and firstfruit giving. We don’t invite our guests to participate in the offering, it’s for those who call Huikala their home.
Some folks ask, so we wanted to cover it. Huikala doesn’t have a dress code. Period. Wear what you feel is appropriate.
Have you ever been to a church where you didn’t feel welcome or felt like you were judged? Yeah, us too. This is not that place.
Have you made a mess of your life? Welcome to the club. Maybe you’re too embarrassed to even show your face in church. Yeah, we’ve been there. There is hope in Jesus and His church. Find out about Him and His grace here at Huikala.
